Born 1949. Serves on a number of Trust Boards, including the New Zealand Maori Arts Institute. Trustee of Apumoana Marae. Member of Te Atinga, Contemporary Maori Arts Arts Committee of Toi Maori Aotearoa and a founding member of Kauwae, the national Maori women's exhibiting collective.

Director of her own business, The Best of Maori Tourism, and co-founder of Pohutu prints. Holds a Diploma in Craft,Art Design-Maori, Waiariki Polytechnic, Rotorua.
